Foreign Films
Michelle and I have taken up watching foreign and art house films, having grown tired of
the worn plots of so many American films. Until recently we updated a list here, however, because it became cumbersome to manually keep it up to date, we now suggest you find our profile on Netflix if you're interested in the films we've seen and rated. Though we use Netflix we would highly recommend a trip to VisArt Video for those in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro area
as their unsurpassable collection has helped us to locate many an excellent film.
The list below (last updated 2007) does represent some of what we have found to be good films to
watch. There are also some non-foreign films on this list, which we deemed worthy of
being counted among such good films. If you have any suggestions, let us know so that
we can we can screen those as well.
